My personal experience with open heart surgery was a massive surprise. Even NOW with everything going on in our world, according to the CDC, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men & women in the United States. One person dies every 37 seconds in the United States from cardiovascular disease. About 647,000 Americans die from heart disease each year—that’s 1 in every 4 deaths. 18.2 million adults age 20 and older have heart disease. 1 in 5 heart attacks is silent—the damage is done, but the person is not aware of it. *
For most people it sneaks up & hits us when we least expect it. Those numbers should shock us into action! We have to be about the business of taking care of our whole cardiovascular system. The saddest part of all those stats is that it is fixable. Yep, fixable, I said it! Your body is designed to repair itself when we give it what it needs!
Let’s talk heart to heart about the situation! How do you keep your blood pressure healthy? Are there foods that will feed blood vessels & keep your heart pumping strong? What minerals keep your heart rhythm perfect? Are their anti-nutrients that should be removed? What is the deal with cholesterol?
